My Reading

I enjoy reading quite a bit but ever since grade 6, my interest in books have declined. This probably happened because my primary school was directly next to a library and I would head there after school every day. I think books are beneficial for a wide array of reasons. They give me a time to relax and cool down as well as helping me learn. Books increase my vocabulary as well as improving my spelling. Reading is important as it trains our ability to concentrate and focus. The most important part about reading is when people can bond over a book. Especially a parent and a child, whether it be a parents favourite childhood book or a new release. When a parent and child bond over the same book magic happens.

Ever since I started watching the Game of Thrones series, I have been hellbent on reading the books. This is a fantasy novel, and it checks off category 16 on the wider reading checklist. I like the plot twists in this book and the intricate plot lines.

If I were trapped on a desert island, I would bring the Rangers Apprentice series and the Game of Throne Series.

I would bring the Rangers Apprentice series because it is such a fun read. The book may be easy to read but the cliff-hangers always leave you wanting more.

I would bring the Game of Throne series just because of the characters. There are no main characters but they all essential to the story. I would also bring this series because it is quite a long read and would leave me content for days.
